Hello all,

I have just acquired a Roku video streaming box, for routing audio and S-video to my old CRT TV. I also use a DVD player to do the same thing. I want to avoid plugging and unplugging cables because I know that this will progressively lead to connector wear and problems. So I would like a "switcher" that will allow me to select either the DVD player or Roku as inputs to the TV.

I have already figured out that an outdated Sony device, Sony AV Selector SB-V40S - S-Video & Composite Audio Video Splitter Switch, looks like a good solution but I wonder if anyone can recommend any other good alternative solutions.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have that unit, I use that unit for almost the same thing, roku and ps2.
a mechanical switch is a mechanical switch. it is a single button but it is in essence a switch.
I also have a radio shack branded unit that works the exact same. only difference is shape
