So, I was using Premiere, when the laptop froze up. (It's worth noting I'm using a monitor through HDMI, as the screen cracked and the person who broke it promised to get a replacement). I give it a few minutes, no big deal, figured I was doing too much at once. Well, after a few minutes, it's still frozen, so I turn it off and back on again. Well, when I turn it on, the screen turns on, the fans turn on, everything you'd expect, however the backlight on the keyboard doesn't turn on. The keyboard itself is responding, things like caps lock turn on the light, so it's presumably working, however, nothing I plug into it responds or gets power, it doesn't display on the monitor, and I can't figure out what's wrong. The only thing it does it let out a barely audible series of like 10-15 beeps/clicks when it first turns on, right before the fans start. I hate this stupid thing, but I couldn't bring my desktop to my college, so it's all I've got, and i gotta get it working ASAP. Please help, thank you.
