Hi guys,

I had installed hp support assistant in my windows 10 hp notebook. When the hp assistant ran at startup it showed me that there is bios update f.24. I then updated it and also created the bios recovery usb. The bios update ran smoothly and then the laptop restarted and a HP bios installation screen appeared and showed that it is updatibg 2048 files. Once that was done it told the setup to restart laptop. But ishowed message that it might have a black screen for few minutes and the laptop might restart several times. I just let it be and over 12hours also the laptop is in black screen..i can see a shaded blinking of the screen. The fan speed rises up and then drops to the point you cant hear it running. And after few seconds again it rises up and drops down.
I then was fiding away to restore my bios back to default. Then i came across this HP default support. Since i had the recovery usb i tried removing the battery and plugging the ac only with the usb and win + B but nothing is showing up. But when i remove the usb i get the capslock blinking 2times slow and 2times fast the a little pause and then same 2fast 2slow. Meaning according to hp it is bios corrupt.
I did everything even disconnect pheripharal devices and press power for 30secs. Remove hdd remove cmos battery. Reseat the ram. All those..but nothing is working out.
Its confusing because the setup finished without any error. When it told that the laptop will have black screen and may restart several times. After this restart only nothing showed up.
But when i direct on the laptop the capslock is not blinking. If i win + B and 3sec poweron the laptop and if nothing shows up and i remove the usb then the capslock starts blinking 2fast 2slow. Powerport light is constant.

Pls help me someone.

How come its bricked. Becus i saw it completed all the installation properly and when it restarted only this problem came up

Could not tell you how, but it looks like it is. You even said that according to HP the BIOS is corrupt. It happens, lots of things have to run perfectly for computers to work, and BIOS updates do fail at times, just rarely.
