Are you sure you have the right WiFi name and password when trying to connect to the hotspot? If you don't have it correct it won't connect. Also, try connecting to other WiFi in the area that you are allowed to connect to and see if you can. If it won't connect to others either, then I would start to wonder if the WiFi card is going.
