hi there, i have a Dual monitor setup for my desktop and ps4, i have both monitors connected to my pc but only 1 is used for my ps4. and i have external speakers cause the built in speakers are crap... so my question is how do i get audio from both componants to 1 set of speakers??

If PS4 audio is already coming out as a 3.5mm audio cable then simply plug that into the line-in (blue) on back of desktop pc, and plug speakers into normal speaker port (green) on back of computer.

Now you have audio from both PC and PS4 over the external speakers.

my Ps4 is connected to one monitor via HDMI and my pc is connected to my other monitor via VGA Cable, my external speakers is a 2.1 with a green male 3.5mm plug which is currently connected into my desktop tower. i have tried using a female to 2 female Y adapter with the single end connected to my external speakers and the 2 ends connected to 2 male to male 3.5mm audio cables that are plugged into the "line in" green input on the back of the monitors (both monitors are BENQ 24" model number GL2460) i still get sound through the external speakers from my desktop but nothing from my PS4 Monitor just get sound from the built in speakers which suck btw and i have tried plugging just a m2m 3.5mm directly from the ps4 monitor into the blue port on the back of my desktop like u suggested but still nothing im at a complete loss

If you connect your external speakers to the single monitor the PS4 is on, does the pass-through audio work then? You can see if BenQ support can help you there if it does not.
