I had a /BCD boot file error a week ago and then I removed my hard drive and used it as an external drive for another computer to try and fix it from there. Then I ended up using the clean command on the command console and so now I'm try to reinstall an OS on that hard drive only everyone says I need a recovery disk for that but the problem with that is that my computer does not have a CD port nor do I even have the money for a recovery disk so I need to rely on software or a change of settings. Please help me.

If you upgraded to Windows 10 during Microsoft's free upgrade period, then you may be able to get away with a clean install of Windows 10. Get the Windows 10 media creation tool, put it on a flash drive, restart the computer and boot from that flash drive, then go through the install process (backup any data you need before doing this).

Windows 10 media creation tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Your product key should be automatically activated if you took advantage of the free upgrade previously. Then you just have to install/update drivers.
