Last night I was doing a report on the computer and suddenly I knocked over a half empty glass of water. Water barely touched my keyboard and now each time I type a letter or number is added to what ever I type. Two make this paragraph readable I had to go back and erase multiple w's and l's.

(Example of what happened to me during the entire typing process.) The red dwog jumped wover the slislver mwowon, he giggsled at the slwo cwowo that fwoslslwowoed after himx.

If you spilled anything on the laptop then you should be ... turning it off, opening it up, removing the battery, disconnecting anything that was connected to it (headphones, USB, etc.) drying up the exterior and the leaving it open and alone to dry for a few days. Yes, I said days.

People don't do this and try to use it right away and that will do way more damage than the initial spill. There is probably liquid still inside (hence the typing issue) and if it gets in the right (or should I say wrong) places inside, it can fry any number of internal parts, if not multiple ones. Which can be costly to fix, or worse killing the laptop.
