My touch pad keeps making my screen to go off and when I touch it. What can be the problem?

The PC is on its just the screen that keeps going on and off whenever I touch my touch pad for a Packard bell PC windows 8. Right now am using a mouse that's when its working properly

It could be something loose inside the laptop. Like the cable that connects the display. If it is at all loose, it would go in and out as that cable was hit.

The only way to know for sure is to look. If it is under warranty, contact the manufacturer. If it isn't, you can either try and do the work yourself, or take it to a local tech.
