Cs go is not running smoothly

Whenever i am playing cs go while connecting charger ,it is running smoothly but without connecting charger its FBS is around 20
Laptop hp au620tx,with 2gb Nvidia graphics .
Tell me information needed for further clarification.

You need to give us more info,does it actually only show 10-20 fps? Then probably it's because you are running it from the igpu.
If it only feels like 10-20 fps although it's much higher then it's something else.

Search in your Windows start bar 'Device Manager' when that loads up click on the 'Display Adapters' drop down box.
What do you see there?

When i click on the display adaptor ,
1.intel(R) hd graphics 620
2. NVIDIA GeForce 940mx

Is your HDMI/DVI in the GPU or the Motherboard?

If its in the GPU right click the Intel HD Graphics adapter and click disable, then restart your pc.

Also when a laptop is plugged in the laptop then puts everything to max if you have set the power settings to 'Maximum Performance' as if you unplug and have this setting on it wont run as fast as if it was plug in.
