How do I turn on an added Monitor which is cabled into my Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop? Do I use the Fn key? If so with which button on the top lineup?

Solution
Doesn't the F1 key have a picture of 2 monitors on it? Try F1 in conjunction with the Fn key. If that doesn't work, try the F1 key alone. Succeeding presses should cycle through either monitor on or both monitors on at the same time.
Not sure of the exact sequence, though.

Yep, 1545 has the media keys as default instead of F1-F12 so you would only use the Fn key to get F1 to F12 themselves. Pressing the F1 key by itself multiple times should toggle between all of the monitor options.
