Hi I just need a quick fix.

I purchased notebook from Dell for my work and in my language it has different key layout on keyboard than it was on the picure with english default keyboard. That is ok - my language keyboard is very specific.

But here is one problem I have. I write for living. I learned to write all ten fingers using only left shift for capitals and specificly right side of that shift.

Shift on this keyboard is only small and instead of the right part of the shift key there is some * key for some useles thing. Can I somehow reprogram this key to work as another SHIFT?

When I am writing with this I keep hitting that * key instead of shift.

Thanks for any reply.

Easiest way to reprogram any key of any keyboard under Windows:

Download SharpKeys 3.5 (free software, requires .NET Framework 4.0, which you should already have, it comes with Windows)

1) Download the .zip version (no need to install anything on your machine that way) and unzip it to somewhere (I've created a folder "Tools" on my C:\ drive and filled it with subfolders containing useful software).
2) Start SharpKeys and either choose the key you want to change from the list on the left, or simply use the option to press the key to be changed. Then, from the list on the right, choose the new function for the key.
3) Save the change and reboot your machine.
4) .....
5) Profit!

Extremely user-friendly, takes 20...

Extremely user-friendly, takes 20 seconds to change key functions without any hassle.
