Hello,

I have EOS 70D and i m using the 18-55mm STM f3.5 Lens that come with the camera it s nice one it dose the job The only down side it s in low light so i was wondering if there is same one with smaller Aperture !

Thanks

Solution
Usually very small aperture lens are only available in prime lens, that is a lens that has a fixed focal range. Like Canon makes a 50mm f1.8, and even a f1.4. Several other companies makes ones that go lower. But when it comes to zoom lens, you won't really find one with a low aperture. Nature of the lens and physics.

I have a cannon mirrorless and have a 22mm f2 lens and a 50mm f1.8 lens for when I need a low aperture, awesome blurry bokeh background type of shot, but all my zooms, 15-45 and 55-200 start at like f3.5 or 4 and go up from there.

That's unfortunate that I can’t find like these kind of lens and I doubt it’s the physics or Nature I think it's the Business because I have both lenses 50mm and 18-55 and but if I found one 18-55 it will be my all in one lenses that is what they don’t really want I guess.

No, it IS physics and optics.

They do make zooms with a lower f number, but it will cost you lots.
