Don't know which one of these 2 laptops to choose. HELP

1. HP Pavilion Power 15-cb007ns 15,6" i7-7700HQ 2,8Ghz RAM 12GB DDR4 HDD 1TB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4Gb

2. HP OMEN 15-ax001ns 15,6" i7-6700HQ 2,6Ghz, up to 3,5Ghz with Turboboost RAM 16GB DDR4 1TB NVIDIA GeForce GTX960M 4Gb GDDR5

Don't know which to get. It will be for gaming and university. And does this turboboost thing in the second one means the first one is worse?

Between the two, pick the first one. Better CPU, 12 gb is enough for quite a long time. 1050 is better as well.

The first one. Why? Newer CPU that is also slightly more powerful. Don't expect that much from gaming. It's heavily lopsided in favor of the CPU.

And does this turboboost thing in the second one means the first one is worse?

No, the 7700HQ also has that feature. It's top speed is 3.8GHz.

I have the second CPU/gpu combo, to be honest, there can be lag sometime when dotaing... 960M is very unpowerful

It'll struggle with Witcher 3 at 720p and lowest settings. Do you have a budget or will these be a gift? If you are buying a laptop where will you be buying it from? I can't offer something from the States if you are in Lithuania.
