I have a new Samsung 55" UHD (UN55MU630DFXZA) and want to control the volume on my Klipsch RB4 sound bar with the Samsung universal remote. They are connected via optical cable and it sounds great, but there is no volume control from the TV via optical. I tried connecting the two via bluetooth, but no luck. The sound bar pairs with other devices fine, but not the TV. The TV has 2 HDMI ports and 1 HDMI ARC port. The sound bar does not have HDMI. I've tried an HDMI to optical converter but that did not work. Any ideas? Thank you for your assistance.

I forgot to mention the obvious . . . While the Samsung remote pairs with a number of other brands of sound bars, Klipsch is not one of them.

The only audio output on a TV that is not fixed is usually a headphone jack.
Since the Samsung remote won't work with the Klipsch the only option I can think of is to use a universal remote like the Logitech Harmony that can be programmed online to operate any combination of components.

Thanks for the guidance. Unfortunately, the Samsung TV doesn't have a headphone jack. A universal remote looks like the only solution, but I really like the simplicity of the Samsung Smart Remote. Looks like I'll have to choose between two remotes or a large, complex universal.
