Looking for a solution for an aunt in her 90's who needs more volume when watching TV, but this annoys others sitting with her. The TV is Samsung LED TV Series 6 6400-6500. Can you recommend a solution that includes a headset where she can have her own independent sound while watching TV with her daughter, and not have to consciously do a recharge if the headset is battery operated? I'm not sure about just ordering a headset and finding that the sound could not be heard through the TV as well as the headset.
Thanks.
edit: it took several tries to sign up with this forum and the time it worked took my password as the forumn ID. I would have preferred jddale

Solution
My father uses a set that simply places a microphone in front of theTV speakers. Sub-optimal, but it works.
Another option is a lashup where the audio out from the TV goes to both an amp / speaker combo and a transmitter for the headset.
TVs simply aren't set up to play through the speakers and a line-out device at the same time.
