Can i3-3110M be replaced?

I got a hp g1m96a laptop https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c04116262 and was wondering if i could change my processor with a better one. If it is possible i would like to know which ones i should search to be compatible with it.

Nope i dont think you can now a days laptops CPU's are soldered in the board itself so you cant update

only way is to open it up. the majority of CPUs on laptops are soldered into place. and HP's are not upgrade friendly

Unfortunately it's BGA chip/CPU on the HP 15 notebook range, that means it is soldered to the motherboard. It's made that way to cut manufacturing costs (hardly surprising with HP, they've a long history of doing that).).
