I am trying to get my laptop to be faster and i found a thread on here that said to uninstall the graphics card driver and then uninstall anything related to it, then reinstall it.however, i cannot find anything on the manager that says graphics card driver. can someone explain this to me pls? thanks

Uninstalling the graphics card driver won't make your laptop faster, where did you read such a thing? Most likely, your laptop is as fast as it will ever be, there's little that can be done with laptops. Normally, the only 2 ways to make a computer faster are switching to faster parts (but on laptops changing parts is either very difficult or impossible; this is more for desktops), and overclocking (but most laptops don't allow overclocking, again this is more for desktops).
At best, you might be able to improve the laptop's responsiveness by defragmenting the HDD, and removing all unnecessary software.

uninstalling graphic card driver means killing your laptop GPU. and uninstalling drivers doesn't make your laptop faster.

GPU that left unattended and uncontrolled by a graphic card driver is prone to overheating, because the system can't control the fan speed or the fan will not spinning at all. resulting the death of graphic card itself and system malfunctioning.
