Cutting my satellite tv...help!

I am giving up my satellite tv service. I bought a multi-directional OTA antenna and intend to remove my rooftop dish and mount the antenna to the existing arm. I have 4 cables (RG60) to connect to the antenna...one to each tv in my house. Can you help me with what I need to get to hook up for the best signal.

you'll want an amplified splitter to run to the other tv's.

you likely have one from the directv dish already in the house. check out where the cable comes into the house. it is probably split right there using such a device.

simply move that splitter to the new antenna, plug it in and you should get a decent signal on all the tv's

No, not that I know of. I currently have four coax cables connected to the dish. Each one comes into my house through the wall to the rooms that have tv's. So, when I erect the antenna, do I just take a coax from the antenna and the four coaxs that go to the tv's to the splitter there on the roof mount?

If your sat dish had a multiswitcher (similar to a splitter for sat use) it would not work for the ova antenna.
A passive splitter will knock down the signal strength to all the TVs. A powered one will at least maintain the strength. Some will also amplify the signal before splitting it.
