Which computer do you recommend for film editing , the dell Inspiron 15-i5558-5718slv or HP 15-bs015dx

Solution
well, they are both much the same. The HP has a slightly better IGPU, so that might a bit of difference, and also a slightly better CPU. If i had a choice of both, I'd select the HP.

To be honest though, neither of them would be fantastic for editing. A desktop with more powerful CPU/GPU would serve you much better.

slightly better CPU yes, though the DELL has a 1920x1080 screen. I'd rather have a 1080p screen when using any kind of editing software.

1366x768 would just suck for that.

what is the BUDGET? There may be a much better laptop for you.

Ideally you want:
4-core Intel (4th gen or newer), and
16GB system memory (may be able to add another 8GB stick, preferably IDENTICAL if it has only 8GB installed)
1920x1080 (or higher) resolution screen

SSD + HDD?
dGPU (i.e. NVidia 1050)
