I wanted to replace my hard drive with a ssd. I tried to do it myself but ultimately had to go to the geek squad for some help. They helped me and reinstalled windows for me. They did all of this for free, but when I got the laptop back, The was a dent above the keyboard and it's bugging me. Is there a way to fix it or cover it up?

If the dent isn't affecting the normal usage of the laptop, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

If however, it's making the lid of the laptop difficult to operate or the fans are grinding on the plastic; you are better off buying a replacement for the underside or the body of the laptop. I had the plastic bits around the vents of my laptop shredded after 3 years of use and I replaced the underside and the body + hinge for the lid and now its a brand new laptop. I know the feeling of some sort of dread when there's a dent or something on the laptop.
