I am utterly exasperated (6 months now) trying desperately to send/upload photos and videos (any media file) from my lgg3 to my Lenovo twist (Windows 10 x64)! My phone usb cord will not do anything but charge. Despite considerable wasted hours, I cannot come up with a way to change any phone setting to have the USB operate as MTP and is seemingly stuck in the charging only mode. Further, ejecting my phone's sd card to transfer files to my computer is also a dead end. As both sd folder files and my lgg3 phone (when connected to my computer) appear "empty." I don't know what to do anymore.

1. Its possible the usb cable you are using is only capable of charging, such usb cables are different with only cords connected to the usb connector for charging while the other cords for data transfer is not present which allows a drop price of cord and marketed for charging only.

2. Make sure phone is set up mass storage device to allow for transfer pictures and videos etc.
