Select icon problem

I have entered into safe mode to find the problem still persistent!
So, deducing from your solution, that its a hardware issue.
Also i found out some of my keyboard keys aren't working all of a sudden.
How do i fix it?

What are you referring to? You have to post the reply in the same thread that you were posting in before, or referring to. Without that we have no idea what you are talking about.

possibly the pc is so fubar, that replies cannot be posted to the correect thread.

there is no way selecting icons is a hardware issue ... thats like claiming tea is coffee. (yes i am aware cofftea exists).

so here it is: the only way hardware doesnt allow you to select icons is a touch screen ... where the touch is fubar (or your mouse and keyboad are dead which cannot be the case if you can do things with them).
BUT that does not stop you using the keyboard to select icons = https

keyboard not working ... get a new one

or plug in an old/spare
