bluetooth not working

Solution
Okay - thanks.

What browser(s) do you use with YouTube and is YouTube the only site where audio goes silent?

Good that the speakers still work. Makes sense that they go "off" when you use "Bluetooth" as the audio Playback device.

Right click the small speaker icon (usually lower right screen area), select Playback devices. Check the properties on the default device.

Start drilling down through the various windows and tabs.

There may be some setting that needs to be enabled or disabled. Just explore first, before changing any settings.

Change only one thing at a time and keep notes - you may need to undo some change.

Narrowing down the circumstances.....
Your question needs to be clarified.

More information is needed please.

Do you mean that, for example, Bluetooth speakers will not work but the laptop's speakers do work?

What OS are you using? Make and model laptop? Make and model speakers (if applicable)?

FYI: Windows 10, Creator's Update, seems to be causing some Bluetooth problems. I.e., Bluetooth stops working....

Details are necessary.

Thanks for answering. The Bluetooth speakers of which I have several all work when I play the down loaded music on my laptop. When I go to youtube they go silent even though my computer shows bluetooth is still on. I have a lenovo thinkpad using MS PRO.

Yes the speakers on the computer still work when I turn the bluetooth off but not if I leave bluetooth on. This all started about a month ago.
