Greetings Tom,
I have owned Asus K501ub laptop since 2016 because this laptop has 2 years warranty. It will be expired at the year of 2018.
So, I plan to upgrade the laptop CPU, from i7-6500U(2core/4threads) to latest CPU like i7-7920HQ(4core/8threads), could this possible to upgrade from i7-6500u to i7-7920hq?
I'm really not sure is whether the CPU is replaceable or nonreplaceable? Because I read an article regards the replacement of laptop's CPU, some laptop's CPU was soldered-in CPU, so, the laptop CPU will not be replaceable.
Thanks/Regards.
Elvis.
