Hello there.
I am having problem with my laptop at the moment.
To begin, I would like to inform that the PC went into Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) while I was playing games.
This last for a few minutes before it automatically restarts and the BSOD states as such: THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER
Upon restarting, I realised that the frame rates dropped significantly (from 60 to 20) while playing the same game. Of course, I let the PC cools down a bit, in case overheating was the root of the problem.
So, I went and checked my AMD Catalyst Control Center, only to realised that the Dual-Graphics option is gone. To clarify myself, I checked the device manager, and realised 1 display adapter went missing. There used to be 2 of it, despite of the display name being the same, as there is 2 graphic cards installed in this laptop instead of 1.
I did approached the AMD supports, however the solution suggested doesn't work. Installation went perfect, but the frame rates is not how it was before the BSOD.
Here is what I did If it does help in a way
1. Uninstall all AMD components and drivers.
2. Update my OS and downloaded the latest drivers from AMD.
3. Clean installation
4. Reboot when necessary.
