I want to pull the trigger on this: https://www.amazon.com/GE73VR-Notebook-i7-7700HQ-Windows-Computer/dp/B073R47N2V/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504963521&sr=8-1&keywords=ge73vr+1070

Before I do I have some noob questions. What would be the best bang for buck ssd arrangement to add for around 400 bucks? keep the 128 ssd which I'm assuming is just m.2 and get a nvme 1 tb samsung? Or get 2 new nvme ssds and throw out the 128 one and possibly do raid (never done this or even really know which to use but if it increase read write speed only i'd try it). Also how would keeping windows work if I throw out the 128 one. Does the comp come with a bootable windows cd? If not then do I have to add windows to the new ssd in the second bay while the 128 one is still in. Also this comes with 1x16gb 2400 RAM. Can I later buy any 16gb 2400 RAM and stick it into the 2nd bay and it will work?

I really appreciate any info. I'd like to buy this by the end of the weekend.

Solution
1. Do NOT do any RAID with that.

2. A $2k laptop and only with a 128GB boot drive? Very lame.

3. You do NOT have to install windows on the second drive, nor should you

4. No, it does not come a bootable Windows CD. At best, there will be a Factory Restore partition on there somewhere that will allow you to create your own DVD or USB.

5. NVMe vs SATA? Unknown. You'll have to go to MSI and look at the specs, in depth.
