Hi Folks,

I am looking for a possible upgrade for my MSI GP62 6QF Leopard Pro from its current GTX 960M to GTX 1060 or GTX 1080 upgrade. Is it possible to get GPU upgrades for my laptop. Do I need to get it installed by an authorized MSI service center(or buy it from them to not violate the warranty)? Please help. Please provide a link to any online sites where I can get them for cheap if any.

Simply not possible.Even if the gpu uses the mxm slot you have problems.

Cooler doesn't fit/is not good enough
Bios will not recognize the gpu (biggest issues)
Gpu doesn't fit in the laptop
...

Also you warranty is definalty voided once you tamper with the gpu and buying a laptop gpu is usually much more expensive comapred to a desktop gpu.

If memory serves, the GPU is soldered to the motherboard. So not able to be upgraded.
