/www.asus.com/in/Laptops/R558UQ/Just how "brand-new" is it? Are we talking about hours or days? The reason I'm asking is that you may have to let it download a host of drivers from Settings>Update & Security. This could easily take several hours.
Your multi-point touch issues may also be resolved by downloading the latest drivers, either via Windows Update or from ASUS's own web page.

Brand new laptop but slightly delaying its response. The multipoint touch is also not working.
