Just how "brand-new" is it? Are we talking about hours or days? The reason I'm asking is that you may have to let it download a host of drivers from Settings>Update & Security. This could easily take several hours.

Your multi-point touch issues may also be resolved by downloading the latest drivers, either via Windows Update or from ASUS's own web page.
