I want to play sounds from tv to older receiver what do i need

Receiver has rca but tv dont it has an headphone jack and sone other plugs that are not red yellow and white

The TV has Blue Green and redish orange color plugs

Solution
Well since it has a headphone jack. You can try a mini jack 3.5mm to RCA cable. The stereo should have RCA jacks and the headphone jack is normally 3.5mm.

Go from the tv's digtal out, it's a single rca. To your computer's digital in. You will need a adapter to the 1/8" plug. Or make a custom one, you can also go to the CD-ROM digital in, it's 2 wires, one is ground, the other is the data wire. It works at 16bit 44100hz only, which happens to be the standard for hdmi and hdtv also, and of course CD.

Then go from the computer's sound out to the receiver's line in.

A second way is to look on any items you have. A dvd player with Digital sound in, then output it's analog sound to the receiver.
Somehow you need a DAC to go from digital to analog. You can also buy them as a stand alone box.

Or buy a used receiver with digital in.
