laptop and projector

Solution
1. Set the HDMI output as a second display.
2. Set the resolution to match the native resolution of the projector. If it's not compatible you can get that no signal error message.
3. The order you boot the PC and turn on or select the correct input of the projector affects how the two "handshake". The TV doesn't always have it's hand out and the PC has to detect the projector which also isn't instantaneous so they can get the timing wrong.
4. Try changing the input on the projector and back.
It can take 10 seconds so give it some time.
