I have recently found my old surround sound and I wanted to hook it up to my tv and also use it to watch things from my Xbox One. How do I do this? From the pictures you can see that the surround system is pretty old. I believe that it is 5.1. I have providided photos so you can see what they look like. What cables do I have to order? http://

Solution
your xbox has spdif out (optical) and your surround system has spdif in (optical) so all you need is an toslink (optical cable) of the appropriate length like this:

https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Digital-Optical-Audio-Toslink/dp/B00NH11H38/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1504408535&sr=8-3&keywords=toslink+cable.

Hook it up between the 2 - go in audio settings of xbox and select spdif (optical) output (it's probably set to hdmi) - go to surround sytem and select the appropriate input and ... enjoy the sound!
