I got this new laptop 1 or maybe 2 months ago it's awsome it's a dell inspiron 7567 gaming laptop
i7 - 7700 hq
16 gb ram
nvidia gtx 1050 Ti 4gb vram
hdd 1To + ssd 128 go
when I leave it open at night when i sleep cause im downloading stuff , I find it kinda hot in the morning which is not normal , because i have this other low end laptop that doesnt get hot even if it stays open for 3 days straight so im a bit confused and kinda scared ! a friend of mine told me that he thinks that the nvidia is active all the time and that's causing the heat , any ideas guys ?

Download CPUID HWMonitor. It will give you a listing of the temps and much more. It will record highs and lows. I have an I7-7820hk and it runs much hotter, on average, than my I7-4790k desktop. Mostly because it doesn't have near the cooling my AIO CPU cooler on my desktop. At idle the laptop runs around 50c.
