how to open the cd drive

Solution

In File Explorer, Right click, Eject
or
Look for the little pinhole. Push a paper clip in that hole
or
Your laptop does not actually have a CD/DVD drive. Since we out here do not know what laptop you have....we can't tell.

Also, on a Macbook the F12 key is eject, right next to the power button. But it doesn't "open" the drive because there's no tray--it's slotload
or
Push the little button on the tray
