So I took apart my Acer E5-511 series laptop to upgrade my ram. Putting it back together has brought up an interesting problem though. when i put the laptop backtogether it works fine. Even when I snap it closed it turns on and everything is as it should be.

It is when i put the screws into the laptop it stops working the way it should. The laptop boots when I press the power button button, the acer splash displays and then the backlight shuts off. The laptop is still on just with no backlight and none of the touch functions work.
when i hold the power button to shut it off I can't use the button to turn it back on unless I either wait for a minute or remove the battery and place it back in. then when it starts the same thing happens.

When I take the screws out of the bottom it works fine.
I even tried shutting the computer off and booting it several times removing a screw each time.
The laptop will only function properly with no screws holding it together. Even though it is snapped shut it still works.

Sorry for the long question this is just really stumping me.

Solution
This is an interesting problem. I suggest pulling it apart again, and making sure that every screw is tight, and everything is where is should be, this is simply a problem with your hardware, so check whether the screws are pushing on something or not. Try putting new screws in, if none of these work, call an acer support person
