I just bought an acoustic audio 5.1 1,000 watt theater system, all the voices..bass sound great. In a movie or playing music, the backround parts will sound really rattled, almost like its way too loud...but no matter what volume I have it on it does this? know what the problem could be? Thank you

Solution
On the remote control there are buttons to raise and lower the volume of the speakers but I don't see a button that would activate the test noise that is usually used to balance all the speakers from your listening position.
You might need to use a test DVD or download a file to set the level of each speaker so it sound the same volume.
In standard AV receivers you also set the distance each speaker is from you but I don't see those controls. Check the owner's manual which I suspect is pretty useless.
