Go to acer support site for the laptop, does it have drivers for everything for windows 7?

if you have the win7 install media, the simplest thing would be to make a 4 gig partition on your hard drive,
copy the install media files to it, and open the partition and click setup. back up all data you don't want
destroyed and format(full) the drive during the install process. back up the data first of course.
