Hey all, hope this is the best place to ask this question, if not, I'd appreciate suggestions on where to post it. I'm a volunteer IT coordinator for a small private school of about 45 students. We're on a shoestring budget and up until now have been using a collection of old donated desktops and laptops. We're basically scrapping the whole works and starting fresh with a wireless network using Ubiquiti switch and access points, and about 20 Chromebooks and a few older Lenovo laptops with Windows 10. I've been planning to use a firewall for web content filtering, but before we spend several hundred bucks I'm doing some last ditch research to make sure that's our best option? What other options are out there?

Thanks!

I'll second COLGeek's opinion. K9 Web Protection is an excellent solution. Alternatively, you could also try Open DNS (Free option) or get a Linux based filtering with relatively nice customisation (SquidGuarD).
