I can get my tv connected to my secure wifi network and see that I have been given an IP address, but I then get the message that it cannot get out to the internet, I'm assuming through my router. I have a configuration with an AT&T router and two other routers also connected to it. I have been able to connect to both the wifi routers, but then always get the error message. I see that my DNS address given is the same as for my cell phone which successfully connects via wifi AND gets out to the network. I also have apple tv and roku attached to HDMI ports on my TV and successfully talking to the internet. Any ideas?

I found an older post of similar problem and tried their solution and .. it worked !! I set the DNS manually to 8.8.8.8. This made no technical sense to me, but once done it worked. I tried going to a website, got there and then had a failure / error message that I had run out of memory. I'll address that tomorrow. As a network person, the 8.8.8.8 DNS is very strange so must have some significance to the Samsung firmware. Go figure !! But thanks to that thread where the solution was.

If you've tried all the trouble shooting tips i.e. update, restart, reset, manually change DNS server, next step is try another wifi network such as your phone hotspot or try to connect ethernet cable to your TV and if either or both works then this is what could be your solution because it works for me. I login to my internet admin page (in this case netgear app), renamed my modem and change the password. Go back to Samsung TV and reconnect wifi. Good luck.

Yes!!!
Just after reset with another internet provider ( your cell phone internet)...UNPLUG YOUR TV...COUNT TO 10.... TURN ON AND GO TO WEB SETTINGS...CHOOSE YOUR HOME INTERNET... INCLUDE PSW AND MANUALLY ENTER DNS AS .8.8.8.8
IT WILL WORK!!!

Makes no sense, but changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 worked for me too. I rebooted first by holding down the power button on my remote. Then I switched the DNS from automatic to manual entry before typing in the address.
