I need a speaker (or two) and a subwoofer for home, which I can use with both a computer and a phone. They will be set up in my bedroom for most of the time but will be moved to the living room if I'm having people over. I generally listen to electronic and deep house so I'm looking for good quality bass even at high volumes. Please let me know what options I have available for under $500.

"Good quality" and "Bluetooth" mix as well as "Honest politician" or "Wood iron" or "Oil and water".
What I would do:
- divide my budget in three equal parts: speaker, speaker, amplifier (or stereo receiver);
- for WiFi or Bluetooth streaming, get Chromecast audio or Bluetooth receiver, plugged into amp' audio input.
For the first part: Go to good audio store, get sample of your music on CD or FLAC, and choose speakers, then choose amplifier / receiver.
