After a windows 10 update, when i boot up the laptop and after logging in to my account the screen just turns black and freezes. Sometimes my homescreen would appear but everything still freezes including the cursor. Is there anyone way to fix these? PS i can't take out the battery.
Laptop model ASUS X455L

I'd try restoring your PC to an earlier point. Usually, Windows will automatically save a restore point before an update, so you should be able to just roll back to before the trouble started. Here's how to do that:

1. Boot up your computer and get to the login screen. Don't log on, though.
2. Click on the power icon in the lower right corner, then hold shift and click "restart."
3. If all goes well, you'll boot up to a screen with three options. Click "troubleshoot."
4. From here, click on system restore. This is where you can restore your PC back to its earlier state.

If you have any issues with these steps, just let me know. Good luck!
