ASUS laptop wont turn on

Hello my asud E502M Laptop just shut down. I have tried removing the charger and pressing the power button with no success.
The lightd are on but the screen is blank. Please help me on how to turn ot on..

I would recommend a hard reboot. Unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Then, try to turn it on. If it boots, it is fixed. If it does not, we need to troubleshoot it.
