If you have a laptop with dual video cards, it should automatically swap to the faster card when needed, unless you changed the operating system or downloaded video drivers directly from AMD not using the ones from the laptop vendor.
You should have an AMD menu in your programs listing, the control panel for that would be there. Try installing the AMD drivers from the laptop vendor support site.
