I really want to take this opportunity to learn more about computers in general and I want to fix it myself.
My Retina Macbook Pro suddenly died with a faint burning smell. It was plugged in and fully charged, and even now the charge chord will light up green when I plug it in. Power button unresponsive, including special start up key inputs.
Update: sorry for the delay, I lost my special screwdriver and need to order a new one!
