Hi, I own an Acer Aspire ES1-571. I just found out I can upgrade my storage and RAM, but what about my graphics card? It'd really help if it could be upgraded, as I have just the minimum of 40-50 FPS.

Solution
Unfortunately no, you can't upgrade the graphics card since the motherboard on which your laptop is based on doesn't have a dedicated GPU port. At that price point and specs(if I'm reading this right off Google) then you can only swap out the ram and storage to something higher. You may not even be able to get in a higher spec'd processor. Mind sharing the SKU for your laptop?

What is the SKU and where is it located? (Sorry I'm more of a program geek than the external)

My SNID is 62701138466

SNIDs are unique numbers that identifies a specific laptop for registration / shipping and tracking purposes to retailers. It does not identify what model the laptop is.

Having said that, the Aspire series are consumer / value oriented laptops. Model with dedicated GPUs will be soldered into the motherboard. Laptops with upgradeable GPUs are basically limited to specific gaming laptop models that generally cost over $1,400 with high end GPUs. To repeat, specific gaming laptop models. There games laptops out there that costs over $2,000 with the dedicated high end GPU soldered into the motherboard.

If you want better gaming performance, then you need to buy a new laptop.
