I have sony dav dz350 home theatre system. Recently my Subwoofer is damaged. It is 3 ohm 8 watt Subwoofer. My question is i am planning to buy new spare part so if i buys Subwoofer with higher impedance will it work with my system?

If you use a higher impedance speaker it will reduce the power available for the subwoofer but it is perfectly safe.
Don't get a speaker under 3 ohms.
Get a 4ohm speaker and you won't notice the difference.
Get an 8 ohm speaker and you might notice that the bass won't play as loud as it did.
