I found a used model (keyboard and pen included) with the only problem being is the seller forgot their password and doesn't know how to reset it whereas I do. It looks good on paper but I was wondering if there is any better options at the price point (used or new) that I am just missing. I love the idea of a 2-in-1 tablet/pc but I was wondering if the problems most people have could be looked over for the much lower price point than the original asking price.

You don't give us any idea of HOW the device is to be used.

If it's a basic e-mail, web-browsing, light usage (non-gaming or very, very light gaming) machine then it's pretty much what you see is what you get. You can go to a STORE and try a Surface Pro to see if it suits your needs.

I've used one and it felt quite responsive. You'll likely want to adjust the DPI scaling (and possibly mess around with Cleartype).

That certifies that any personal settings, malware or other software issues should be gone. It's a very easy thing to do. You SKIP the key as it will auto-activate.
