In any event, it is often a matter of graphical settings, and gpu limitations, although a faster cpu is often needed as well...

If someone wants the MOST longevity, I'd look at an R5-1600 or 7700K....unfortunately, the GTX1060 is not cheap these days...

An average gaming pc in 2017 must a core i3 or intel xeon (its cheap in my country) and a 1050 ti to play high end games at 1080p , high settings, and 30fps , but gt 1030 or 740 may also do the work
