hello every one. i had to buy a gaming laptop and my two options were:
1) asus rog gl702vm
17" core i7-7700HQ, gtx 1060(6gb), 16gb ram, 1tb hard, 128gb ssd(sata)
2) Lenovo legion y720
15" core i7-7700HQ, gtx 1060(6gb), 16gb ram, 256gb ssd (nvme)
Now i knew that asus gets hot as compared to lenovo but the reviews says that it dont get dangerously hot. So i bought asus but considering the fact that i live in saudi arabia where room temp gets up to 30-35 C, the asus get both cpu and gpu to 60C on idle and i cant put it on my lap because it gets really warm thus uncomfortable. i can still get a full refund within 15 days though. please tell me what are the highest safe temperatures and should i get lenovo and return asus. dont get me wrong i love every thing about it except the heat.

90 for the cpu and gpu is the highest temps that it should go up to. You may also want see that the lenovo comes with an nvme drive which are faster and it has twice the storage. Asus generally have good cooling in their rog laptops so I don't think you will need to worry to much. I think the legion is good but not as good as the asus but I could be wrong.
