I know for a fact this is not a hardware issue. So let's rule that out. Nevertheless, what I am trying to do is install a brand new windows 10 on my hp sleekbook 15. The thing is when I plug it in and use it as a boot drive. It only comes on as a black screen. Nothing else. I am able to enter into the bios and all but that's about it. I really don't know what to do at this point. FYI yes my laptop can read it, it specifically has the name and all. Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you!

I have no clue what happened, but after I opened everything and unplugged and plugged everything back, the computer seemed to have worked.... (it was able to read the usb media and upgrade to windows 10) Nevertheless, I would assumed it had to do with the hard drive.... For when I ran the HP test it came out that it was working but after what I witnessed it might have been some faulty mistake or something. I really don't know. Something I hate about computers is that it may work the next day. But thank you all fo rthe help!
