Help connecting projector for sound

Hi! I have an Epson Powerlite home cinema 500 projector. Currently I use it for outdoor movies by streaming through my MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone. I need more sound but the projector doesn't have an audio "out" - can anyone help a total novice figure this out? Thank you so much!!!

Use the headphone output of the source. Select that as your audio device if needed.
Connect that to powered speakers or amp and passive speakers.
Or use an HDMI input selector with audio extraction to provide the audio output for speakers. This will work with any source with HDMI output.
